Georgia Cassidy – New Business Assistant
Georgia has made the decision to resign from her role as New Business Assistant, Georgia’s last day with OC will be Thursday 14th December. We wish Georgia all the best for the future!
Promotions
Kaitlyn Beere – New Business Assistant / Property Manager
From Monday 11th December, Kaity will be moving into the New Business Assistant role whilst maintaining a portfolio of properties within Property Management. Congratulations Kaity on your new role!
Chris Daugalis – Property Manager
After working with Brett Mason in a mentorship over the last few months, Chris will be taking the next step in his Property Management journey and taking on his own portfolio from Wednesday 6th December. Congratulations Chris on your new role!
Paige Rosser – Trainee Property Manager
From Wednesday 6th December, Paige will be transitioning into a Property Management mentorship with Brett Mason. Congratulations Paige on your new role!
Jade Cairns – Assistant Property Manager
Jade will also be stepping into her new role of Assistant Property Manager as part of this transition. Jade will begin to learn the ropes whilst we recruit for a new Reception & Administration Officer. Congratulations on your new role Jade!

2023 OC Engagement Survey
This week the People & Culture Team sent through our Annual Engagement Survey. We would love to hear your insight on the culture and your experience working at OC. The feedback you provide is invaluable, it plays a key role in driving and improving our workplace and culture.

This project has been very successful with most dwellings now on hold or under contract.
Rose Park Apartments
The Coming Soon campaign is still underway with VIP appointments being booked with the OCP sales team and a few hot buyers on the go.
The Osmond
The coming soon campaign has been positively received with a few apartments already under contract. The OCP team ran their first successful VIP Event held at Khou Wine Bar on Wednesday night for interested buyers. The Osmond will launch to REA next Wednesday to the full market with a price review – if you know of any interested buyers we highly recommend to book in an appointment with OCP team prior to the launch date.

Update
This week saw the Australian Bureau of Statistics release the October retail trade & inflation figures, which showed that Australian households’ spending had already dropped significantly even before the RBA’s most recent interest rate rise in November. This data has only strengthened the opinion from economists that it’s unlikely that there will be another rate rise when the RBA meets next Tuesday, which will be welcome news to new & existing borrowers over the Christmas & New Year break.
With the RBA not meeting in January, if they choose to leave rates as they are next week, that will automatically give a 2 month break for borrowers until the next RBA meeting in the first week of February. Next year will also see the RBA reduce the number of board meetings & increase the time gap between each meeting, which should allow them a little more time to review the impact of any changes they make before they make their next decision on monetary policy.
